I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). My appointment has me living and working in Lusaka, Zambia where I am a visiting lecturer and researcher in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Zambia (UNZA), School of Medicine .

I completed my doctorate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in August 2010. My doctoral research project involved the study of parasite community structure in Nebraska minnows, and the role of habitat variability in the determination of the parasites’ ability to distribute themselves in nature.

I am among those who think that science has great beauty. A scientist in his laboratory is not only a technician:
he is also a child placed before natural phenomena which impress him like a fairy tale.
